Jo Hibachi: Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Conway, SC

Plentiful, tasty food. Quick, friendly service. Clean bathroom. Smallish restaurant, so I assume at high traffic times it might be hard getting a table. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

This place is so good to eat. I cannot express that enough!!! I had the filet and noodles today and oh my goodness!!! Sooooo goood. A must go to for sure!!!!

Em and I stood under an Oak Tree trying to determine where we would have lunch. We used Google to help. Decided to try Jo Hibachi and we are not sad we did. At first the portion looked a little small but it was not. The food was well cooked and flavored. After eating we had all were could and plenty was left. We highly recommend Jo Hibachi.

We've lived in Conway for years, but tried Jo Hibachi for the first time today (June 19, 2025). Overall, the veggies, rice, noodles, and soup were very good. Our food was fresh and hot. The steak was tender and juicy but a little bland, and the chicken had good flavor, but was overcooked and tough. We will most likely return, but we'll probably order just the veggie bowl/entree with noodles. Also, prices are higher than the last menu pix I saw online, so I'm including updated menu board photos.

My family loves Jo’s! They have the best customer service. The filet is melt in your mouth. The white sauce is so yummy.

My boyfriend and I came by for lunch, and it was great! The food was very affordable. We each got an entree, side order, and a drink. Altogether, including a 15% tip, it was just under $16. All of the people that were working were super friendly and welcoming! The gyoza side order was nice, as were the spring rolls. The chicken entree was delicious- $8.50 for a decent portion of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ate inside, and the seating area is somewhat small, but there is plenty of room and it doesn’t feel tight. They have sauces that you can self-serve to the side, and the fountain drinks are cheap and cold. This is a great place to check out in downtown Conway!

New to the area and trying out the restaurants. I had the windows down and I smelled this place. I ordered the express chicken bowl. It is a very large portion! It was very very good. Not cheap on the sauce. The chicken is good quality not chewy. It stayed hot in the car while I was trying to eat it. 10/10 definitely my new favorite hibachi place. I’ll try the filet mignon next

Just left the best spot. We’ve been ordering carry out for a while but tonight they made an everlasting expression on me and my family. Best staff I’ve been greeted with in a while Thank you for being you and coming to Conway!
